Noise Cut Transformer NCT-K

It is equipped with strict lightning protection and surge prevention.

The lightning surge that intrudes into the power line and reaches one coil of the lightning protection transformer first attempts to transfer electrostatically (through capacitive coupling) to the other coil. However, if the transformer has a shielding plate, this can be effectively prevented. Following that, a slower electromagnetic transfer (through inductive coupling) occurs, and there has been no lightning protection transformer equipped with a structure to prevent this; they have relied on added capacitors and varistors, which have been insufficient to protect low-resistance information devices and precision electronic equipment. However, a structure like the "Noise Cut Transformer" that prevents high-frequency magnetic flux from the lightning surge from crossing to the secondary side can also prevent this electromagnetic transfer. The NCT-K type takes advantage of this characteristic, featuring high voltage insulation that withstands the impact of lightning surges, excellent shielding with a very low impedance triple structure, and is designed and manufactured to easily divert powerful lightning surges to the ground, almost completely preventing them from escaping to the load side, making it a "Noise Cut Transformer for lightning protection."

[Noise Countermeasure Example] The analog signal from the weighing controller is unstable.

In a servo-based weighing system, the analog signal from the weighing controller fluctuates.

At Company B's factory, which manufactures plastic products, there is an automatic weighing machine for resin raw material pellets that are transported by a conveyor belt. This system inputs the analog signal output from a device that detects the gate's opening degree via a potentiometer into a PLC for control, and sends signals to a servo driver for control. While operating this system, a problem occurred where the gate opened and closed in small increments, making accurate weighing impossible. If this continues, it will significantly impact product production... This case was related to "high-frequency noise propagating through the air." *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.*

[Case Study] Pharmaceutical Manufacturer C Research Institute

Unexplained stoppage of the centrifuge, what is its true nature? Introducing a case that achieved stable operation of research equipment!

At the C Research Institute, research and development of new drugs is being conducted, and many facilities are operational; however, there were issues occurring. It was speculated that the cause might be the deterioration of the power supply environment due to voltage fluctuations, but this remained merely a hypothesis, and we were in trouble. Since there are various factors that can deteriorate the power supply environment, we first proposed the introduction of cost-effective high-frequency noise countermeasure products and provided a trial unit. When we installed a "Noise Cut Transformer" on the centrifuge to check if the situation would change, the issues that had occurred daily completely ceased from the very first day of installation. Subsequently, we introduced the solution to other devices that had experienced issues, and those devices also stopped having problems, achieving stable operation of the research equipment. [Case Summary] ■ Problem: Unable to identify the cause of the issues ■ Proposal: Cost-effective high-frequency noise countermeasure products ■ Introduced Product: Noise Cut Transformer ■ Result: Troubles resolved with high-frequency noise countermeasures ■ Conclusion: It is important to implement measures suitable for the factors causing disturbances that deteriorate the power supply environment. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] POS System Development Company A

Is it prohibited to use while charging? We will introduce cases where the cause was identified and the trouble was resolved!

Company A, a manufacturer of POS system development, has been focusing on the spread of tablet-type POS systems and has delivered them to many stores. However, recently, complaints have been received from newly supplied stores stating that "malfunctions occur, making it impossible to operate." Company A conducted daily investigations to resolve this issue, but identifying the cause proved difficult, leading to a prolonged period of uncertainty. We estimated that the conductive noise transmitted through the power line was entering the tablet via the charger, causing the troubles. We proposed the "Noise Cut Transformer," which can eliminate power noise. After installation, the troubles completely disappeared, and normal operations were restored. [Case Summary] ■ Problem: Unable to operate while charging ■ Product Introduced: Noise Cut Transformer ■ Effect: Troubles completely resolved *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Noise Cut Transformer NCT-R3-J6

The latest three-phase model that improves noise reduction performance while considering safety and ease of use.

The "Noise Cut Transformer" has improved noise attenuation performance, safety, and ease of use. It is a disturbance wave blocking transformer. Focusing on the fact that various noise disturbances are caused in different environments by high-frequency noise below 150 kHz, which is not covered by major EMC standards such as the IEC 61000-4 series, we have generally enhanced the noise attenuation performance, particularly in the range of several tens to several hundred kHz. Additionally, not only the conductive parts such as terminals and coils but also the core part is enclosed in a case to prevent contact, making it safer to use.

Noise Cut Transformer NCT-J

Decisive effect against noise leakage from inverters! It can also be widely used for other three-phase applications.

This is a "Noise Cut Transformer" developed to prevent malfunctions and communication disruptions caused by noise associated with the rapidly increasing use of "general-purpose inverters." Of course, it can also be used for other applications. The noise generated by conventional inverters has been difficult to sufficiently mitigate with LC filters and similar devices. This is due to the presence of a significant amount of noise in the frequency range below 100 kHz, where the effectiveness of the filters diminishes, as well as issues such as leakage current when filters are used, and the influence of grounding conditions and the impedance of power and load devices. The NCT-J is a trump card that can solve these problems all at once.

[Case Study] An alarm for leakage current is triggered when the overseas compressor operates.

I want you to clarify the cause of the alarm sounding! Here is an introduction to noise countermeasure examples!

Since you have already confirmed that there are no abnormalities in the insulation of the equipment, we considered another possibility. Generally, high-frequency noise is generated from the compressor. Typically, some noise reduction product is installed on the compressor to prevent the high-frequency noise generated from affecting surrounding equipment. In principle, that noise reduction product should be able to sufficiently prevent the outflow of high-frequency noise. However, when several adverse conditions overlap, that noise reduction product can sometimes become a cause of dispersing high-frequency noise. Upon checking with the customer, it was confirmed that a noise reduction product is also installed on the compressor of the equipment, so we focused our investigation on the surrounding area. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
